It's Christmas Toy Drive time!
Students in Ms. Olga Reyes' Reading class @ Veterans Memorial Academy read a short story about a young girl diagnosed with Leukemia, but regardless of how she felt, she took time to help at a Children’s Trauma Center. She organized birthday parties and provided all the fun goodies for the children.
After reading this story, her students were inspired to do something for children in their community.
Won’t you help them collect unwrapped toys for both boys and girls, one to ten years of age?! Donated toys can be dropped off in the Main Office or students can bring them to room B116. Thank you!
